Have you ever considered what it might be like to live in a conscious moment-by-moment communion with God? Letters by a Modern Mystic recounts Frank Laubach's spiritual journey as he began such an experiment, while serving in the 1930s as a lonely missionary on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines.

Frank C. Laubach:
Frank C. Laubach (1884-1970) was a Christian Evangelical missionary and mystic. Known as 'The Apostle to the Illiterates', he developed the 'Each One Teach One' literacy program, which is credited with teaching over one hundred million people to read in their own language. His work continues today through the ProLiteracy Worldwide organization he helped to establish.
